One young woman came to us after she was in a bus accident. She needed a home for a short time to rehabilitate. After just 6 months, this young woman rehabilitated herself to the point of living on her own.
Another young man came to Terry Home also after a car accident. He needed a place to relearn the skills that his brain had lost in his accident. With the help of our staff and his determination, this young man is now living in his RV on his parent’s property enjoying life.
We have several residents who volunteer at the local senior centers several times a week. Some residents secured their food handlers permits so they could help around the home with baking cookies and pies, etc.
Terry Home is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation accredited by the Department of Commerce of the State of Washington. Donations are 100% tax-deductible, less the fair market value of goods or services.
