About Us

Journey Towards Independence

Terry Home offers specialized care for young adults with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), focusing on fostering independence through structured programs and activities. Established in 1996 in Pacific, WA, and expanded in 2013 in Auburn, WA, our homes provide a serene environment close to essential amenities. Our 24-hour trained staff ensures a safe, nurturing space for our residents.

Our Founding Story
Our journey began in 1984, driven by a mother’s dream to find a fitting home for her then 18 year-old son who had sustained a TBI. This dream turned into a decade-long community endeavor, leading to the opening of our first home in 1996. Named after the founder’s son, Terry Home is a symbol of dedication, community spirit, and the pursuit of suitable care for young adults with TBI.

Achievements and Admissions
We’re proud of our residents’ progress towards independence, with many transitioning to more independent living arrangements. Admission criteria focus on stability and engagement in rehabilitative activities, fostering an environment fostering growth.

Stories of Transformation
Our residents illustrate the profound impact of our care – from gaining new skills to rediscovering independence. These stories are at the heart of what we do.
